I am a Finance Ph.D. Candidate at the Rady School of Management, University of California, San Diego.
My research interests focus on entrepreneurship, housing markets, and economic inequality. My current work studies how neighborhood dynamics and local social interactions shape business formation, using administrative data and nearest-neighbor research designs.
I obtained an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering (summa cum laude, with concentration in Finance) and an Industrial Engineering degree with a major in Mining Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
